Description:
Bill: My little intellectual group comprised myself, Gerko and Stan. We took bus-way from Histon to Swavesey. Bethel Chapel closed so sat outside with our own drinks. Then we cycled via Fen Drayton and Fen Stanton to Houghton and then to Houghton Mill for picnic. Returned via Hemingfords and St Ives, bus-way to Histon. We noticed that the Community Café in Hemingford Grey was open.A good time was had by all.
Rowland: We stopped for our flasks of coffee at the RSPB picnic tables at Fen Drayton lakes, (crossed the busway, down the track running to the river and on the right by the lake.) For lunch at the picnic tables at Houghton Mill.
