Notes:

Maggie joined us just to Lode to say hello.
Apologies for the tough 50 miles over quiet but somewhat bone shaking concrete and gravel. And for Robert a sense that the “ask the postie” navigation* experience in no way compensated for my failure to access Ely Cathedral. Still Riviera weather to relax at the Cutter Inn. Bill’s last visit there was two pints full. This time the challenging repair of a front wheel puncture – not the chippings but a simple drawing pin.
That’s all for the record. I perhaps deserved to be left in the lock up at Coveney. That crossed my mind as I laboured as always towards Cottenham.

*the direct route from Ely St Mary Street is the WFen Road not the Downham Road which added another 4 miles Managing the traffic on the by pass for 400 metres was an option.
